I recently came out of the dark ages and bought myself  a new Motorola G54 android mobile phone after using a 15/20 year old phone for years . I am on a 2gb data a month setup with EE. sometimes I start to run out of data but my sister says I can use her TP-Link mobile wifi if I need it.
How do I swich off EE data when needed and connect to the TP-Link mobile WIFI
Thanks

Make sure your carrier supports WiFi calling, you need to turn it on.
Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network - click on WiFi calling.
If you don't see this option then your carrier doesn't support it.

To log into your sister's WiFi network:

Open settings: tap the Settings app on your home screen.
Go to network settings: scroll down and select Network and internet.
    Access WiFi settings: tap WiFi.
Enable WiFi: toggle the slider at the top to turn on WiFi. A list of nearby networks will appear.
Select a network: tap the name of your Sister's network.
Enter the password: type your sister's network password and tap Connect.
Connection complete: you’ll be connected to the WiFi network in seconds.

If you leave on (or turn on) WiFi when you go to your sister's house it should automatically pick up on it each time so long as you have saved the password on setup.

Can I ask what your deal with EE is costing a month?

In my Motorola settings, to turn mobile data off - open settings - Network & Internet - SIM preferences, under that is Preferences and Data - toggle on or off as desired. If turning off there is a box with Mobile Data, Turn off mobile data? - in blue text Cancel or OK.
