it is a ISA account am using for my savings.

well the new job would consist of more hours than the 2 jobs anyway but thats how it works working offshore.

I am also looking into starting a pension and also saving for a deposit on a house for 2007
  • I have allot more debt than you but since reading the help of here and the OS board and learing how to budget also the help of CCCS I have managed to open an ISA. I may only put the odd £ in there at the odd time when i haven't got anything more but for the first time in years i actually have some savings in case i need it if something goes wrong. In fact with the budgeting and OS board help on cutting back i have also managed to increase my debt management plan with CCCS and reduce my debt free date by 4 years. :T Keep posting and keep reading as everyday there is something new to learn on these boards

    Morning guys

Some of you may of known that i am in need of some quick cash to pay for a course i need to go on so can move into new career etc.

Well i have decided to just wait a couple of weeks and save for it. As thought for the long turn the industry and career i want isnt going to end by xmas etc so might aswell wait a wee bit longer and do it the proper way.

A week later and i have another job interview for gaining entry to the industry. i cant wait.
All crediters are sorted and all setup with standing orders starting end of auguest.

Cap one card is on its way to help to improve my rating slowly over time.

Sent money off for copy of my credit file so can finally see where i stand etc so will post up again once that arrives to go over it as last time i got one i didnt understand it at all.

Quick question. with the cap one card is it possible to setup a DD so they take minimuim payment each month. reason i ask is i dnt want to fall behind and also with the new job i will b away at weeks at a time.

roll on 2007 wen the CCJ comes off :D
