sorry the way i worded it
The reason i said another credit card was due to reading on this forum and alot say keep up with payments etc etc. I have learned my lesson with the amount of debt i have got into. I was alot more in debt than £4k but i managed to sort some of that out but am only asking if there is any way to start and improve my credit rating.
I dont need to get into debt again cause my job pays well and for the last year i have been happy and able to puy things i needed just from my wage.
Any advice would b great on how to start over again. i know i have made alot of damage but i would like to try my best to repair it slowly but surely0 -
When you've had chance to read Xbigman's post again and digest fully what was said, I think you'll realise that hidden away in there was some advice, hard facts, and a warning that you've had a lucky escape this time (so you might even want to post an apology!).fairmorn308 wrote:calm down...all i asked was best way to improve it once all debt is clear never asked for u to give me the birds and the bees about it m8
Remember that when you post a question you cannot dictate what answers people will give. These people speak with wisdom. They have been there, seen it, done it, and bought the tee-shirt! You are 22 years of age. Heed the advice given.0 -

Hi
I am awaiting letters back from the credit angcys regardng my credit rating etc so i can tell u guys and see if anything is sitting pending etc on my account.
Just a quick question. If you have a basic account with a bank and you go overdrawn i.e charges etc and then the debt gets passed over to a debt collection angency, does the bank need to inform you that they will be making a mark againest your name for credit rating or will my credit rating not be affected as didnt need a credit check for opening the account.
My last missed payment and defualt was last year and i know it will stay for 6 yrs BUT am on track getting better a rating slowly. BUT if on my account say for last 6 months i have made payments on time etc etc will crediters look at the present history and see it is good or will they look further back.0 -
