I only use Lidl because it is cheaper for branded stuff, even though some of their brands are unknown to us, but just as good and half the price.  The Lidl + card is useless, I activate all the stuff all the time but don't think I've ever seen a discount come off.  It is still cheaper than the big 4 though.

Remember that Lidl have very few staff, very few bells and whistles, and from reading on here, very dodgy IT systems.  But that's why their food is generally cheaper.  I'd rather it was like this than the other way around

Never had any real problems apart from an occasional few hours delay in a shop appearing.  Coupons have always worked with the exception of a couple of clashes but it is usually clear that only one will work and you have to unselect then select appropriately.  Not keen on their self scans though as there are too many non barcoded items to put through.
