Applied for UC (transition) from ESA and got a "details of employee leaving work" form today

With my details on it even though I'm not and haven't been recently employed. Is this normal? Does this mean I am now expected to work even though I was assessed as being disabled?

Do you mean a P45 detailing your taxable income for your ESA claim?

Yes i think this must be a P45 document issued by ESA when the claim was closed. ESA counted as a form of income during the tax year and therefore they issue a P45 when the claim is closed.
Does not mean that DWP are expecting you to work following change to UC.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
It's standard practice that they issue them. The DWP will issue this form to individuals who have ceased receiving ESA.0
