Vodafone restricted

Hi

Vodafone have restricted my services so that I can’t make any calls, texts or use my data.

The reason they have restricted my services is because my bill for this month is higher than normal. This just doesn’t seem right.

1. The bill is not due until the 9th May.

2. I have not missed any of my previous bills.

3. I have no limit on my Spend Manager.

4. They want me to pay part of the bill that isn’t due yet, nor has the bill been created.

If there reason for restricting my services is because my bill is higher than normal, then surely I should be able to use what is in my plan, ie calls, texts & data.

any advice will be greatly appreciated

Have you checked your bill online to see if there is anything on there that shouldn’t be?

They are allowed to do this. In fact the regulations say, in effect, that they should do this to prevent a bill becoming unaffordable.

(That's not to say that they've done the right thing in this particular case. How much above your normal spend is it)

You will have a credit limit on your account, so you must have done something chargeable to take you over that limit. You should be able to call 44555 and that will text you back any unbilled info…
