As you will be aware your cash in the S&S ISA might be invested in QMMFs. These are low risk but not without risk. So you'll need to judge whether the extra interest is worth the extra risk.Johnny-Cage said:Can I move money 24k from my 24 and 25 allowances that’s in my T212 cash ISA to get the better rate in the S&S ISA especially when the cash ISA rate drops. I have no interest in investing so if they do get fickle about it not investing can the full allowances be moved back into there cash ISA0

Argh so if you don’t invest any funds you don’t just get the 4.6% daily interestslinger2 said:

No, the cash is invested in the QMMF returning 4.6%, hence the small risk.Johnny-Cage said:

You have to opt in to receiving interest on your cash, whereby it then gets "invested" in QMMFs.
You don't get interest if you're not opted in.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0

I've only got a small amount of cash in Trading212 but nearly all of that is in my S&S accounts. Personally I can stand that risk. Would I leave huge amounts of money in QMMFs? Probably not.Johnny-Cage said:

T212 states the QMMFs it uses. You can look them up and see what you think:Johnny-Cage said:
