I did receive a letter today, sent prior to HB cancelling the charge. They were going to charge £130. As promised, see below image.didd

You need to reply to that using the PEye email address I provide in the second post of the NEWBIES thread. We don't need to coach you what to say (NOT THE USUAL TEMPLATE LBC REPLY, OBVIOUSLY)!

Interesting to see PEye have got worse.

- in the years leading up to 2021 they never added any sum when litigating in-house;

- around 2022 they had the bright idea of slapping on £20 at LBCCC stage 

- around 2023 they increased it to +£25

- now in 2025 they've increased it to +£30 

They have nothing on their signs about added costs and are merely slapping this extra sum on for their own profit at LBCCC stage, despite the case law in ParkingEye v Somerfield (High Court stage, then ratified by the CoA) telling them THEY CAN'T.

I think they'll use this to try to mislead the MHCLG and hope they don't know about Somerfield and don't know that ParkingEye added NOTHING AT ALL until 2022.

This is all part of the industry re-writing the historical truth to make added fees look like 'the norm'. Sigh...
