Looks like I already have complained to the landowner, £7 down the drain. Where do I go from here?  Loathe to pay the leaches anything. Disappointed the manager sold me down the line when he would know procedure....twice.

Debt collectors letters follow non payment

Followed by letters of Claim,  possibly by DCB Legal   ( or from Parking Eye themselves   )

A possible future court claim might eventually happen,  within the next 6 years

Why don't you just reply to Home Bargains?

@Coupon-mad, I have. They have ignored my last email. I've been polite, what gets me is the store manager has obviously bare faced lied, costing me additional money, as i naively thought they would cancel.  My family and I spend way more than a £100 per month, tempted just to pay it and vote with my feet.

Of course you don't EVER do that!

    COME ON. You're on MSE.

You don't pay a scam to make it go away. This hasn't cost you anything and will never cost you anything if you simply follow the NEWBIES thread advice at all stages (and obviously tell them if you move house).

Well unsurprisingly PE rejected my late appeal. They haven't even bothered to respond, the only reason I found out was the charge has now increased to £130 and after some digging around on the appeal page I noticed it states late appeal rejected. Do I just ignore until the letter of claim now? I've also gone back to Home Bargains to see if they will cancel.

£130? They're creeping the scam add-on by a fiver every year. Ignore them but please show the letter you get demanding £130.

    Thanks Kryten3000 & Coupon-mad, if I get the letter, I will upload.

I checked PE this morning and as per below my balance outstanding is showing £0, yesterday it definitely was £130.  Does this mean it's been cancelled?

I've had a reply from Home Bargains CS as per below, I've not been able to provide her a rejection letter as i haven't received it yet:-

Can you please send me a copy of your rejection letter. I already have a copy of your fine.

I cant promise that we are able to do anything but I will try

    Kind Regards

    Colette

    Thanks in advance.
