Porting issues

Not sure whats happening with the mobile porting.   Moved from Libara to Asda Mobile Text and Voice only (no data).   Tried the SIM in my old nokia dumb phone - worked fine with voice and text both ways.   So ported the number.   After the port had completed text works send/recieve but can only make calls.   The caller the other end only gets a ringing tone but the phone doesn't ring.  After a few days of customer service it was decided the phone is to old, but they couldnt tell me why it the phone was working fine before the port.

How did you try it before porting? Calling and receiving from vodafone and non-vodafone?
Asda and lebara both use the vodafone network, it may be that something hasn't been transferred properly, sometimes porting to a different network then back can help but it would end your lebara deal unfortunately.
