Moorside Legal

Hi all,
I have received a letter from Moorside Legal, explaining that they have been instructed by Alliance Parking UK Ltd, to recover outstanding sums from 6 PCN's dating back to 2019, 2 for my wife, who can't remember receiving the original PCN's and a separate claim to me, for a car my wife owned.
Up to now, I have been ignoring letters and texts from Trace Debt Recovery, so now Moorside have been asked to take over.
The tickets were issued to me in a car park belonging to the apartment block I used to own a flat in, which I pointed out to Alliance at the time. They refused to accept my argument.
I am prepared to go to court, as I think I have a very good case, and I took heart from a Forum member who successfully won his case, under similar circumstances.
How should I proceed with this? Will I eventually receive a court summons, which I have to submit my defence to?
All suggestions will be gratefully received.
Thank you, in advance.

No summons a MCOL claim. NEWBIES Announcement thread second post Small Claim explains what happens when.
Worth reading fourth post Debt stage note change of address part, check your V5Cs are up to date, you must never leave a parking firm with old an address.
There is also a Template Defence Announcement thread. Find both at top of page 1.

Do you mean that your wife got two separate LBCs splitting up the 6 PCNs?
And you got one LBC yourself?
Same location and facts? You driving all 7 times?dating back to 2019Which months?
Your wife should transfer liability for all PCNs by naming you and giving your postal address as the driver (if that's true), assuming you'd rather receive one claim form and be the Defendant?
You said "and a separate CLAIM to me". Do you actually mean you got a Claim Form?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon Mad,
Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear. I received 6 PCNs, my wife received 2 and I received a further 1 more, but for a car that belonged to my wife (ie her car, but wrongly with me as the registered keeper)0 -
But no claim forms yet?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've not received any court papers, yet. Shall I email Moorside and inform them that I will be challenging all of my PCN's, as I think I have a good case?0

Were you the driver every time? If so, does your wife want to transfer liability so you deal with all of the PCNs (ONLY IF IT'S TRUE THAT YOU WERE DRIVING).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
