UC paid to the date not the day?

So far my payments have been coming in on the same day (wednesday). However, my statement has next payment as 19th April which is a Saturday. Do they pay on a Saturday or will it be Friday or tomorrow even with it being Good Friday? Thanks

If payment falls on a weekend then it is usually paid the day before, which as you say is a bank holiday, so expect it to be on Thursday.

As @peteuk says, payment will always be on or before the stated date, never later. So if the payment date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, payment will be in your account on the last working day beforehand.

In your example, as the payment date falls on a Saturday, normally payment would be made on the Friday, but in this case that is a bank holiday so payment should be in your account on the Thursday.

UC is always paid on the same DATE each month, or if that date fall on a weekend or bank holiday then it is paid on the last working day before that date, which is usually a Friday.
(But this week it's Thursday because Friday is a bank holiday).

The fact that your last two were both paid on a Wednesday is simply a coincidence due to Ferbruary only having 28 days.
19th Feb and 19th March were both Wednesdays.
19th April is Saturday so you will be paid on the last working day before, which because of Good Friday is Thursday 17th April (tomorrow).
19th May is a Monday so you will be paid that day.

Thank you so much for explaining, I was expecting it today until I realised it was only the 16th and then checked my statement.
