    Unless the OP intends to draw cash from an ATM there are several "user friendly" credit cards to pay for goods and services abroad, including his Barclaycard Rewards plastic.
    As said, it is not an ideal best case scenario to use it to withdraw cash for reasons clearly explained.
    If it's cash in Spain or the Canaries then a Santander UK debit card is the best deal at one of their branch located ATMs - totally fee free.
