Virgin to CMC: Requested on the 6th April (late evening) and arrived with CMC and earning since 10th April

Chip to CMC: Requested on the 14th April (lunch time) and arrived with CMC and earning interest from today 17th April

Certainly interested to read how your T212 transfers go and how long that takes.

Received a message from T212 today asking me to confirm the transfer request in the App, which I have done.
Within a minute or two I then received another message from T212 saying the funds had been transferred to CMX. My T212 Cash ISA balance now shows as zero.

It will be interesting to see how long it now takes for the funds to appear in the CMC Cash ISA a/c. 

Pretty good so far, especially considering there were Bank Holidays on Friday and Monday. (Assuming T212 don't operate on Bank Holidays!!).

Thanks for the update. I guess it will show later this afternoon between 4 and 5pm as credited and will earn you interest from today. 

When you initiated the transfer and selected T212 from the dropdown menu, what did you put in or account no and sort code? Sort code is optional but I think the advise is to either leave blank or just put 00-00-00 in. They don't have any reference field they provide in their form.

No sign of the cash in the CMC a/c yet. Perhaps tomorrow.

When I initiated the transfer in the CMC App I just put in my T212 Cash ISA a/c number and left the sort code blank. 

I did use the T212 chat support on Tuesday to let them know I had initiated a transfer and they confirmed they had received it and were processing it. 

EDIT : 25/4/25 Funds now available in my CMC Cash ISA. Switch from T212 initiated 16/4/25, so pretty quick in my opinion considering we had two Bank Holidays over the period of the switch.

Had a secure message from CMC for my (drawn out) transfer from Trading 212.

Apparently my NINO did not match with the T212 records, so they have asked me to confirm it.
I have checked with both T212 and CMC, and surprise surprise it does match on both sides

So now another wait for them to read my reply and process it...

I thought I’d share my experience with transferring my ISA from Trading212 to CMC Invest:

• 17th April 2025 – Initiated the transfer. - Probably the worst timing with the bank holidays & weekends 😅

• 18th April 2025 – Status moved to Awaiting Response

• 28th April 2025 – Under Awaiting Response, I received this message:
  "We're still waiting on your previous provider to send your transfer. We know the delay is frustrating, and we're actively chasing them to get this moving. Some providers may reduce the balance in your account before we've received a reply."

• 30th April 2025 – Still no updates from either Trading212 or CMC Invest.

Has anyone else started a transfer around the same time? - Curious to know how quick it been with the bank holidays & Weekends.

Cash ISA Initiated on 16th, completed 25th. Perhaps I was lucky!!
