Hi! Long story short, my partner (registered named driver on my vehicle) was getting dental work done by students at our local dental hospital - he logged in on reception but we still received 3 SEPARATE PCNs from DCBL and it’s now got to the point of threatening legal action if we don’t pay £140 TODAY.

my partner received letters stamped from the hospital advising he was there for treatment which voids the parking fines. However, I then realised we have another outstanding PCN from this company for a separate incident (spending 8, yes 8!! Minutes in a car park and then upon finding out the price of tickets, leaving!) which is also unpaid.

I’ve read the newbies thread and did try looking through the PALS route but it’s telling me to go to my local hospital which I’m unable to do with a baby at the moment. It’s really stressing me out. I know not to reply, but on the thread it also states to send a template letter, which one should I do? Do I ignore?

I have a picture of the letter
    It’s parking eye for both.
Look at that 'Can't Pay? We'll Take it Away!' misleading rubbish on every DCB Ltd letter. And they always have their name in full (including the word 'bailiffs') instead of just DCB.

I assume you mean you got two matching letters?  But £140 is for one PCN.

    Have PALS cancelled it yet?

As you have a baby, would he better being named by you as the driver? That way he should get his own PCNs to appeal if they play it properly.

Would he be better than you at a court hearing (it's only like a job interview) or would you?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Someone I know is in the same position as the OP for this car park (St David's Hospital, Cardiff). Used the onsite tablet but still got the penalty and now been passed to DCBL cowboy "bailiffs".  I've provided the guidance from this thread.

Also came across this: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/hospital-visitor-fined-170-using-150925341.html .  Again, same car park.  Article also refers to multiple social media complaints about the same.

I will start a new thread if needed.  But the point of this post is for anyone who going to take the time to complain to PAL/CEO/MP should re-enforce very obvious repeated/systematic issues with Parking Eyes in this car park.
