I have a holiday booked with Parkdean which I do every year. No problems until this year. Apparently now they want to carry out ID checks. Not sure why a UK holiday requires this. Some people who book UK holidays don't think they don't need a passport that's probably why they holiday in the UK in the first place.
Parkdean are using a company called YOTI which they claim is UK government certified yet when I search the name "YOTI" on GOV.UK it doesn't recognise it.
Has anyone else come across this?

I've stayed at many Park Dean places and never heard of this.
I am staying at a park next month but it is independent and no mention of id check0 -
The only ID check that I recall were carried out by a uk company was haven who used such checks to ban those with Irish/traveller names. Haven was fined a huge amount for discrimination0

Fabulous holiday and the man in charge was a serving Naval Officer so he really knew what he was doing.
. He told us to bring passports and as I didn’t have one at the time I got a 1 year Visitors Passport. The interesting thing was everywhere we moored he had to show the yacht’s registration details but never once in the 3 weeks were we asked for our passports

ID checks seem to be random, but they tell you why they do them on this page:
