FYI  -  also the ppc have to comply with the KADOE contract to extract the personal data of motorists  -  a para of the contract states:-

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/current_dvla_kadoe_agreement_for/response/2567601/attach/4/FOIR11172 UK Car Park Management Ltd Redacted.pdf?cookie_passthrough=1

A7.1. The Customer shall at all times be a member of a DVLA Accredited Trade Association (“ATA”) and maintain membership of the ATA and comply with the ATA’s Code of Practice."

While C-mad and some MPs are pushing for Govt CoP and regulation for this industry motorists should do this too. Write to your MP about the unfair treatment you received from GXS and sign the parking petitions. 🙏

thank you and I will sign the petition
I just need some guidance on how to respond
clearly GXS don't even know why the PCN was issued to me in the first place as they have now incorrectly informed me it was because the ticket displayed on my car was not brought from their machine
it was and I can prove this, there own pictures of my car show clearly their ticket on my car
surely this is fraud on there behalf i.e. trying to extort money from me falsely
or at the very least the ticket should be cancelled because they issued it incorrectly
Do I need to now respond to the LBC providing my evidence

Are you sure? How do you know the images show "their ticket"?  You can't read it can you?

Reply and say you believe they are wrong (attach proof) and will give them a final chance to properly respond before you involve your MP, the DVLA and the IPC in an escalated complaint.

Interestingly I doubted myself, so I went to the car park this morning. I know this is a privately owned car park so really couldn’t believe I would have been stupid enough to buy a ticket from a council operated machine on the street,
I have the actual ticket I kept it.  They have very distinctive Tickets in that they don’t have The GXS logo on them so basically could’ve come from any machine  I took pictures of other cars in the car park today They have the very same ticket as mine on their cars  GXS sent me photographs of my car showing  their ticket clearly displayed on my dashboard.  In close up and easily readable
The street ticket machines they are referring to our council run  tickets machines and the tickets  that they issue are completely different. Firstly they have the council logo on them and secondly they don’t ask for your registration number to be entered.
so GXS are either complete idiots or scammers or both

Perfect.  Send them the proof and say what I suggested. Ask them to confirm that you have exhausted their complaints policy.

    What do you think?

sorry couldn't resist being slightly sarcastic but will take out if you think its too antagonist

Thank you for confirming that the PCN was not issued due to a keying error?

You have stated that the PCN was issued because I purchased a parking ticket from an on street local authority machine NOT the ticket machine within your car park

Please refer to the evidence attached:

Picture of the ticket I purchased from your machine and displayed on my car's dashboard

Confirmation from your pictures that the ticket was clearly displayed on my dashboard and one of your tickets purchased from your machine

Pictures of other tickets on vehicles in your car park displaying the same tickets purchased from your onsite car park machine

Picture of a ticket from the local authority machine

You will clearly see from the evidence attached that this is one of your tickets from your machine and bears no resemblance to the local authority tickets purchased which clearly have the local authority logo on them and do not require you to input your registration number.

To avoid this happening to other motorists you might want to consider putting your logo on the tickets issued from your machine to avoid any confusion in the future

I strongly advise that you cancel this ticket immediately and cease any further action against me or I will involve my MP, the DVLA and the IPC in an escalated complaint.  I will also pursue you for damages

Can you also please confirm that I have exhausted your complaint process?

    Typical response from a PPC:

"You broke our rules, pay up!"

    "No I didn't, here's my proof"

"Oh actually you broke a different rule and because you didn't pay up immediately you now owe us even more."

They will say whatever they want to justify their PCN.
Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

    That'll do nicely.
