This is going to take a little detective work on your part if you do not have access to the Half-Hour meter readings showing the tariff details, but if you can stay up to midnight and check the two meter registers at 5 mins before, then midnight and then 5 mins after, you will be able to see which registers are being used before and then after midnight.

Hi, Thanks for this I really appreciate the support and I am making a note of this for the engineer, what is the register info or will it show the tariff on the meter? Cheers
The registers are where your meter readings are accumulated, the photo you posted earlier shows R01 which is your day time peak-rate total, there is also R02 which will be your night-time off-peak total.
That's not always the case, there's no Golden Rule.  For example, my E7 meter has R1 night and R2 day.
Agreed, but in this case the meter reading in the photo is in line with reading on the bill for the peak rate period...

Yup, not directly relevant for the OP but possibly useful for other readers. :)

The saga continues with no reply from Exec complaints team, I have looked further into my bill and noticed and reported the following - Also based on the adv you gave me I have canclled the meter inspection visit (which they havent confirmed) and said I only want them coming out to comission smart monitor for the gas.  Elec is working on the monitor now.

    • The peak and off peak readings are not synced and working back to front on your meter
    • From 20th December the peak rate is unusually over the normal usage
    • The meter is changing between both rates at the wrong time of day and it is not synced with the schedule for cheaper rate at midnight
    • My KW for charging isn't being recorded on the low rate tariff, even though it is set on the pod point app to align with your timings for off peak
    • The meter schedule is switching registers at the wrong time
    • The registers aren't synced correctly to change at midnight
    • The tariff information on the meter has also been set incorrect
    • You need to check the registers and half hour data to ensure correct as I cant do this on the website
    • A visual inspection shows it is in line with the correct register for the time of day, however this isn't the case
    • Resolving this and ensuring correct will also allow for commissioning of meter and monitor
    • There is no data available for January usage so this renders the bill incorrect, why am i unable to see this usage
    • As said off peak and peak are incorrect and mixed up
    • No usage data graph 1st feb - 6th however it is showing that my daily usage is £77.27 with zero off peak spend
    • The off peak timings on the graph do not appear to be registering until 0100 Hours - The off peak should be from midnight
    • Usage for March is incorrect and unusually high
I give up on trying to tell them in many emails all of the bullet points above, i have written it in different ways and now have been sent a debt collection letter from Lowell, to which I thought they couldn't do whilst a bill was in dispute.
    :)
