Has anyone yet received their missing cashback?

My sister contacted them yesterday and got the response "Issue with missing cashback has been identified and corrective actions were taken. The missing cashback will appear as Bank giro credit ref Octopus Cashback on your statement. Automatic payments are being processed, and you should see the amount credited soon".
Your post prompted me to check my account, and it seems a Bank Giro credit for the missing cashback was applied to my account on Friday (23rd May). So it does indeed sound like they are working through them.

Has anyone else received their missing Octopus cashback from Santander and if so which date did the direct debit go out of the account? My sister is still waiting for hers.

I received mine today, after receiving two letters saying I would not get back dated cashback.. :o

I wonder whether this drama woke some sleeping Santander dogs and reminded them that there were still 123 Lite customers.

I doubt it, especially since they've not done anything about 123 (non-Lite) yet, which had the same issue.

123 Lite went NLA in Nov 2022 whereas 123 went NLA in June 2023. Suspect the playbook will run its course for them in time too.

Mine has finally been paid. Over a month later than it should have been, but at least I've got it!

I'm late to this thread, and I confess I haven't read the entire thread, but I've just checked all of the cashback payments on my Edge Up account back to the beginning of this year, and all are correct and include the DDs to Octopus. The DD shows as "GC re Octopus" so I've been migrated. Did this issue only affect 123 accounts?

No. Read the thread. I have a 123 and got all my cashback payments on the due date. Santander had fixed the problem by the time my cashback was due.

Ive just had my missing cashback paid today, so it looks like they are taking a while to get through them all. I'd forgotten about it and wasn't expecting it after what they said, so i wondered what it was at 1st.
