Booking.com and gmail/googlemail

Hi. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before. For some unknown reason, I ended up with two separate Booking.com accounts but both are with my gmail.com email. I think most probably I've signed in via email somewhere and this almost always use googlemail.com instead of gmail.com. Booking.com however treats gmail.com and googlemail.com as two separate email domains and therefore I now have two accounts. This is extremely frustrating as I've some 18 bookings in 2 years across both accounts which allows me Genius Level 3 Status but when split across the 2 accounts, both are short of Genius Level 3 Status. I've contacted Booking.com and they said there is nothing they can do, I find this extremely annoying, all these bookings came to one email inbox. Is there anybody on here who can offer some advice please? This must have had happened to someone before. Thanks!

You likely logged in via email on some occasions and used the  login with Google option on others.

If so, that is user error in not being consistent unfortunately. Although they could have detected both were the same account, or could consolidate.

You are taking "Genius level 3" far too seriously. Their prices vary with the time of day; the other websites you visited recently; and whether you are using a Cashback website. And over the last few months I have found them to be consistently more expensive than sites such as Expedia and Trip.

You will have "signed in" with gmail and also have a gmail booking.com account.

Not much you can do if they can't do anything about it.
