How much would it cost to cancel talk talk when out of contract and and do they charge extra if missing equipment ?

There are no extra charges when out of contract if you wish to cancel completely, you just have to give 30 days notice and pay until the disconnection date.
If you arrange for another company to take over your internet then no notice is required and you will be charged until the new service goes live.
Depending on what services you have they may request return of equipment and you will be charged if you fail to do so.

What does your contract say about equipment? Many if taken out more than 10 years ago will not include a requirement (or at least no charge) for not returning equipment. More recent contracts may well have charges.
Is there a reason you can't return their kit?
As above, if you out of your minimum term and use switching through the new supplier, then there is no cost to cancel other than paying up to the date the switch happens.0 -
Yes the kit is missing thats why wondered how much charge is for missing equipment0
