So guess we can all consider this thread moot now!
Not necessarily. Items such as computers are not priced on a "bottom-up" basis to make a fair profit but are priced to the maximum the market will bear. It is quite possible that manufacturers will see the turbulence and use it as an excuse to drive the prices up, whether in USA or RoW.
If it is a big purchase I would recommend you do not buy it at all as it does not sound like you can afford it. If you are just buying it because you like Apple or the way it looks I would leave it. The cost of living is only going up and with the tariffs coming back in 90 days we do not know if there will be a recession or any other problems. Do you have enough savings to not work for 12 months? If not, start saving.
That’s a little bit of a leap given the extremely limited information that the OP just wants to buy an iMac, do you not think? Many people are on this site because they like a bargain, not because they’re living beyond their means.

Dear Leader keeps changing his mind every 5 minutes, there's no guarantee that by the time I've finished this he won't have decided to stick the tariffs back on.
Looks like the orange one has caved in again and decided not to place tariffs on computers, phones and other tech. So current pricing may not vary by much.
On the +125%, the 20% anti-fentanyl tariff is still applying (correct at time of writing).
A few products haven't been excluded so will have to see what the AirPod Pro 3 come in at with their 145% import duty
I am surprised that people still look at all-in-one computers. So many people are asking if they can buy a new Mac and use the screen from the last iMac. Not easily. Just throw the whole lot in landfill and buy a new one.
