PCN Hassle

Hi all,
I need some advice please.
I received a PCN from PE for parking in a supermarket car park last year. I was unaware it was camera controlled and don't believe there was adequate signage. I have received numerous letters, first from ParkingEye, then DCBL and most recently one from HM Tribunal, although I'm questioning the authenticity of this one! I have ignored every single letter so far as I knew it would be highly likely than any appeal would be dismissed. However, I am not sure what action to take with this most recent letter I received. Do I ignore it or fill in the AOS section of the form? I have 2 weeks after 5 days of the issue date of the letter to take a form of action otherwise they are threatening me with a CCJ.
I have browsed a few posts on this forum and it seems like there's a common theme with these private parking firms. I have a genuine reason why I am disputing paying their "out of the air" figure of now £170 with supposed court fees totalling just over £300.
Any help is much appreciated but I do have faith in the members of these forums. 🙂
Thanks!

Obviously you DO NOT IGNORE A CLAIM FORM. Of course it's authentic. You'll get a CCJ if you ignore a court claim.
Read the second post of the NEWBIES thread first. Then read half a dozen DCB Legal claim threads on the forum next to yours. Easily defended.
Then show us the POC (don't ask what that is, that's why I advised what to read first).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD3 -
@Coupon-mad May I kindly ask that you provide me with a link to this second post section of the Newbies thread please? I have read through it and not sure which section you are referring to? I am aware what POC is now and will send this across. I think I may have already missed the two week deadline for responding but I'm guessing I need to fill out the AOS section? I'm also uncertain of which defence template I need to use and what details I need to edit. It appears many members on here have appealed or had contact with these companies already, whereas I haven't at all.
Many thanks.0 -
Post the issue date from the claim form, top right
Post the name of the claimant, top left paragraph and the name below in the second paragraph ( is it Parking Eye and DCB Legal ? )
Post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form after hiding only the VRM details first
Warning, Do not post unredacted pictures here, so be careful with any pictures
Login to your government gateway account and navigate to MCOL, complete the AOS online on MCOL by following the AOS Dropbox instructions in that newbies sticky thread post 2, then logout of MCOL
No paperwork needs filling in, so file the N1SDT claim pack away in a drawer

"Obviously you DO NOT IGNORE A CLAIM FORM."
"..... link to this second post section of the Newbies thread please?"
From top of Newbies thread (WELCOME!
) scroll down to:-
"SMALL CLAIM?
IF YOU HAVE A THREAD, REPLY ON IT, DON'T START A NEW ONE."
That is the second post.

Ok, here is the claimant address and the POC:

Here is the address of the company in question.

The claim issue date was the 21/03/2025.0

You have not told us the issue date, which was my first important question
As for the POC, it says were issued, so not the incident date, ( contravention date ) so that issued date for the pcn will probably be incorrect, meaning that you would adapt a recent Parking Eye example, where we only need to see the first few paragraphs
Ideally get the AOS done online on MCOL ASAP, today if possible1 -
Hi, I've now completed the AOS on MCOL as advised, thanks. What would be the next stage here ?0
