So just thought I'd post back been over 6 months I've had a water meter 2 bed semi with 2 adults and 2 kids.

Use to be charged on retainable value bill went from £38 every 4 weeks to £52 weeks every 4 weeks.

So requested a water meter.

I have had my account set up to take £40 every 4 weeks built up £240 credit been billed today £130 for little over 6 months use so now have £110 credit and they have reduced my direct debit to £19 a month so hopefully if I continue this trend I'll be in credit again by the next bill.

So personally so far so good on the water meter front.
