Electricity meter goes backwards then doubles usage.

We've seen at least two where the CT was reversed, and one where it was improperly fitted. None of these made the actual supply meter misbehave. What they did was screw up control of the battery so it charged and discharged irrationally.  I don't see how it could clock up 2300 kWh in one day.

But to double check, OP do you have export readings at the given dates? From the actual supply meter, not from the solar app?

If the supply registers of the meter went backwards, I'm pretty sure that means it's knackered. (The first words that came to mind would have been blocked by the filter.)

Still, a photo would be nice. And more info on why there's a three phase meter where only one phase is being used.

That's an electromechanical spinny disc meter. Spinny disc meters are well known for running backwards.

You've overlooked the word "electronic" in Qyburn's post.
