HM Courts & Tribunals Letter Advice (Euro carparks / DCB Legal)

Options
Hello good people!

I'm looking for some advice on how to proceed with this situation if possible please.

I originally had a parking fine at a Euro Carparks carpark on 08/05/2022.

DCB Legal sent the increasingly threatening 'invoice' letters, and now I've just received a HM Courts & Tribunals one, which more boldly threatens the possibilty of a court case and CCJ.

I've filed the AOS as suggested. I think that gives me until 16/4/25. I've away from home so lost some time on this.

I've looked at the newbies thread but I'm not 100% clear on how to proceed. Looking at my letters attached can some offer some advice on how to write the defence?

Apologies if I I've not included enough info. I can share anything else needed to support it.

Many thanks!

Apologies if I've not included enough info. I can share anything else needed to support it.

    Many thanks!

It's not a duplicate thread. And you can edit and delete the repeated post once you've made a few more posts & become a Forumite.

Anyway just do what the Template Defence tells you to do. The defence stage is easy.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As above,  it's 4pm next Monday,  14th April

Use the typical ECP template defence,  with the typical paragraph 3 with the altered date to suit the date in the POC on the lower left of the claim form

Use the full template,  email it as a pdf document attachment to claim responses at the CNBC in Northampton,  before the deadline

    Simples

You only need to look at

The second post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

The defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum

A few other recent ECP DCB Legal cases over the last 2 or 3 months,  to get the gist

    No logging into mcol

No filling in the defence online in mcol

    No paperwork either
