In general platforms will show the latest price (plus purchase cost) and performance data - funds such as OEICs are only valued daily but ETFs are traded in real time.1

That would depend on the what platform you are using. Each has its own software and front end.northernstar007 said:

Not sure I'm understanding the questions - I thought you were asking about what you'd see if you signed up as a customer with them? Do you have an account with them yet and if so, have you invested in anything there?northernstar007 said:

Re "what would the purchase cost", my point is that a platform should show a portfolio summary, indicating the purchase cost of whatever you'd invested in, alongside current value - obviously the cost of a purchase will depend on what you buy and when, so the question as phrased doesn't make sense to me?0 -
As you mention Lloyds, the info re. investing is here, using the drop down menu:

You don't invest an ISA in S&S - you open a S&S ISA and invest in shares or funds.northernstar007 said:if i wanted to invest my isa in s&s say with lloyds can i see a live price at what i have got them at and what they are in real time and past performance
Is it an ISA with Lloyds you are wanting to open and invest, or are you wanting to invest in Lloyds shares within an ISA?0
