Suspicious about a broadband company

About a year ago, I was sent an ad by Voneus saying they would be rolling out FTTP to my rural area "soon" and offering a very good introductory package which they said would be installed in November. This didn't happen and, at the end of January, I got an email cancelling my order due to "some technical challenges in the design of your network".

Today, I was checking my email and sent a message to Voneus asking if there was any change.

A few minutes later, my phone rang with an unknown number so I did an internet search as I usually do and got the response from https://who-called.co.uk/Number/08082815799 that the "telephone number 08082815799 has been flagged for suspicious activities, currently being primarily associated with the Broadband Scam." It's also flagged as 'Dangerous' and "Claiming to be broadband provider" by https://www.whoscalled.co.uk/number/08082815799

This seems very strange as all my checks on Voneus indicate they are a reputable company but it seems like too much of a coincidence that I get a call from a number flagged as a possible broadband scam just after I contact them.

Is this in fact one of Voneus' numbers and the ratings are misinterpretation of cold calls?

Those "who called me?" sites have lots of incorrect comments and are often just plain wrong.

It turns out this was Voneus calling me to tell me that they could now go ahead with an installation so the "who called me?" sites *are* wrong!
