Managed SS ISA

I have 20k in a managed SS Isa for the previous tax year.
I would appreciate peoples thoughts / advice on how to invest for the next tax year
Prior the the stock markets recent drop I had planned to invest 20K into the existing SS ISA but I’m a little unsure if that’s the best thing to do at the moment.
It is a high risk investment (highest level )
Here are some of the things I have been thinking about
1) Proceed as planned, invest 20K into the existing SS ISA
2) As above but drip feed the £20K payments
3) Change the risk level on the SS ISA
4) Open new SS ISA with lower risk level for new funds & leave existing SS ISA as it is.

'Managed' can mean a few different things, so can you just give a few more details about it ?
Also some context about you/your overall financial situation and what you hope to use the money for eventually, would be useful.0 -
Hi,
It is a SS ISA is managed by Vanguard.
I only opened it a few weeks ago - it has taken a loss of 9.6% in the last few days.I’m looking to save for the long term, I just want to invest in the remaining £20k in the best way possible .I do not & will not need access to the funds.0 -
The question wasn't really about the identity of the fund manager or platform but the specific product - what is it and how did you determine that it was suitable for your objectives (and have these changed)?masjntt1977 said:It is a SS ISA is managed by Vanguard.0 -
To be truthful I had looked at a few companies, had projections and it was this one that I felt happy with - easy to manage, invest , withdraw etc and was happy with the projections, cust service etc etc0

Vanguard is both an ISA platform and also a provider of different products for you to invest in (eg, funds).masjntt1977 said:To be truthful I had looked at a few companies, had projections and it was this one that I felt happy with - easy to manage, invest , withdraw etc and was happy with the projections, cust service etc etc
Was it the Managed ISA?

If so, what was your money invested in within that?0 -
In this case it is usually better to invest via a pension for the tax benefits.masjntt1977 said:Hi,

Because of allowances/income or some other reason? If you have enough allowance/income remaining, you can open a SIPP alongside your existing pension and get the tax relief added.masjntt1977 said:

(Don't assume Vanguard would be the best place for that though - they have relatively high charges, as a percentage, for lower valued pots)0 -
Thanks will look into things suggested
with reference to the original question which option between 1&4 (not 5) would people advise ? X0
