Timing of bed and ISA sale

I'm looking to sell some of my funds in my general investment account and transfer it to my ISA to use up this years capital gains allowance.
I'm with Iweb and as far as I know, this needs to be done manually be selling the fund in the general investment account and then transferring the proceeds into the ISA and repurchasing the fund.
There would be a couple of days between the sale and repurchase, so I wanted some ask if it would make sense to wait until the markets settle down a little or just proceed as I normally do each year, since the difference in selling and repurchase prices would only be what happens in the few days between the transactions being processed.
