Been round the house dusting light fittings and any flat surfaces and stuff on them while in the rooms. Two dusters got very dirty.Spend less now, work less later.7

Two dusters got very dirty.Heartening to know other Flyladies, and not just Narco and moi have similar attitudes to dusting, as in it only ever needs doing when you can write your name in it. Well protected wood in Flyladies' houses.Did all my dailies before the Foodbank stint including pegging out a WM load, and watering things that needed to be watered. Now having a rest before leaping into action later and looking bright-eyed and bushy tailed for the opening night of Belovéd's play.

Wordle in three, Connections with no lives lost and I had to have masses of hints for Strands.Have scattered more grass seed on the bald bits and muddled the soil around and over them. A lot of the seed I had must have been out of date or something but I have hopes for this new bag. I hadn't realised how expensive grass seed is.Better is good enough.6

been given notice to remove mum from the home. They cannot cope. My friend came to visit her with me today. which was a massive help and i managed not to weep. she’s deteriorated dramatically over the last few weeks. Heartbreaking.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I'm so sorry to hear that Valli. Are you getting any professional support and help for dealing with the situation? It's heartbreaking enough watching someone you love deteriorate so much and so fast without being expected to manage the situation if the care home can't cope with her illness. Thanks for the suggestion about watering Kaz. I started out watering once a day in the mornings but because it's been so hot and windy in the garden, although that bit is in the shade, I'm now watering twice a day. The old seed had been hanging around for a few years.Better is good enough.5

Morning all xx
I'm definitely feeling more human than I was last weekend. I've had my first week in my new roles and enjoyed both. Different challenges. New people. I was well ready for the change.
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Wordle in three, completed Connections with no lives lost, couldn't find Strands 🤷♀️, and supped my first brew.

mum has a social worker and the dementia nurses are involved. We’ve bee approved to apply for continuing health care support because of the severity of her needs.
