Advice needed with holiday

Hi all, need some advice on what to do with package holiday that I have booked through Easyjet Holidays.

We are a group of six people, three couples, and were due to go on holiday this coming Tuesday, Unfortunately two couples have had to cancel holiday due to ill heath.

Can I ask what is the correct procedure to do? Holiday has been paid in full but now it will just be one couple travelling.

Do we just turn up at airport and inform Easyjet that the other two couples will not be travelling or do we need to inform Easyjet before arriving at airport?

Have never been in this situation before so unsure what to do.

I am the lead passenger so hopefully that is one less thing to worry about.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Check the EasyJet Holidays website for the sliding scale of cancellation charges.  There are also FAQs on there.

Contact EasyJet Holidays if a cancellation/amendment invoice is required for those not travelling. This will be needed for any travel insurance claim. Lead passengers on holiday booking needs to do this.

Tell the non travelling party members to review their travel insurance policy regarding making a claim.

Hopefully each couple had their own specific insurance and not covered by a group insurance policy.

Spoke to Easyjet and they said they cannot remove from booking as only 3 days till travel, but I could change name for £40 per person if we had anyone who wanted to go in their place, which we don't :D . They will be classed as a no-show and Easyjet will provide letter for insurance after we come back saying they did not travel.

Each couple had their own insurance.

    Thanks.

The no shows will need a medical certificate for insurance purposes - confirmation of not travelling does not constitute grounds for a claim.

Yes, they know they need medical certificates, which they have got or are in the process of getting. Letter from Easyjet is just incase their insurance companies need confirmation they did not travel. Thanks.
