Haggling with VM after expiration of our current discounted price:
So for M125 including (no longer working) landline it's going from £22 a month to £60.60 on 10th April. Online chat with customer services. Best they could offer was £30 for 24 months with £3/yr (10%!) price increases for April '26 and '27. Benchmark is £19 with Three / 5G and £24 with Sky/ Fibre (not factoring in voucher bonuses for switching). So I've given them my 30 days notice.
Last time it was 2 weeks before disconnection day that I got a retention call. I wonder if it will happen again or I will just have to switch. Are others getting decent retention deals from Virgin?
