Why is moving to a different provider not an option, many ISP’s offer a social tariff not just VF .

If PIP is the only benefit you receive, and the majority of providers apart from Vodafone don’t consider this particular benefit to be indicative of a customer that needs help in respect of broadband affordability , then if getting a social tariff is paramount , VF presumably are your only choice and if they make taking or renewing this tariff ‘difficult’ that’s something you would have to put up with , VF are not mandated to provide a social tariff or include PIP claimants ( something others don’t consider as a qualifying benefit ) they do it voluntarily, and could simply decide to remove it at any time , so in some respects you should be somewhat grateful it’s available at all , even if they don’t make it easy to get .

The Vodafone BB social tariff is £20 is it not, going up to £25 if you no longer qualify. If you're trying to renew it, that means you're out contract. Virgin have a 250Mbps deal for just £17.99 although there's no landline, so you'd need mobiles. If a landline is needed then at the moment Sky do their 150Mbps with landline for £24.

At least use the above deals to try and get Vodafone to price match.

Having just been through this! I did get an email which links didn't work in I Spoke to the Vodafone store who seemed to think my contract ended after the date in the email? in the end phoned them on 0333 304 0191 and once you get past the automated bot they were very helpful and it was dealt with and it was renewed £20 a month for the next 12
