New ISA Rules - Splitting a matured Virgin Money fixed rate ISA between new Provider ISA's

Hi All,
I have a Virgin Money 12M Fixed Rate ISA that has just matured. I want to split this between two new Providers, placing some of this sum into another 2Yr Fixed ISA with another Provider and move the remaining balance to a 1Yr Fixed ISA account, either with a completely different provider, or possibly the same provider as my 2Yr Fixed ISA. Is this possible, with the new rules about having multiple ISA's? Virgin don't seem very sure as yet!
Thanks for your help, in eager anticipation :-)

I had the same situation late last year. This should answer your question.
