I agree too this is great learning opportunity relevant to her chosen profession. And would look good on her police application...prepared to challenge something she felt was not right even though she feared the possible processes and outcomes ahead (court, CCJ)
I cannot understand how nothing is done about these so called 'businesses'. Surely someone should be able to do something about them?! I'm appalled that they are allowed to get away with it!
So many of us are with you on that one. It's a complete mystery to me why past and present Govt have allowed it to continue for years. Unfortunately all we can do is keep complaining and demand action instead of verbal promises.

There's a list of petitions (now up to 7) about private parking have a look and consider signing. According to the petition maps on the website only a couple have been supported from IOW residents. 🙏

So a little update. I wrote another appeal after all the great advice from this site. This is what she has just received. I have told her not to pay but she is going too....much against my advice!! She's frightened that bailiffs are going to come round and take her possessions, as much as I try to tell her they can't do it, she won't believe me 😢.

No bailiffs will be coming round, sometimes people are stubborn and wont listen to their mentors

I hope that she changes in time and listens to the mentors in her chosen profession,  plus does proper background research too

Big difference between the criminal justice system and the private justice system

    No she won't.

You don't pay a scam to make it stop. No bailiffs are coming knocking. Stop her!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you everyone, I do appreciate the support.
