I tried to submit a water meter reading yesterday - 31st March - as bills are going up from today.
Given that their website is utterly useless - i was unable to submit the reading.

I wrote to someone at SW online and they updated my meter reading - but have put the reading down for 1st April.

They told me the bill will reflect the new prices because the bill is issued "once per year"

Is this correct?

Yes, you will not have your usage billed at the new rate, the new bill will account for your last twelve months usage charged at the new rates and pro-rata split over the next twelve months.
