I am with Aviva.
Just back from holiday to bowen an email saying my policy expired yesterday.
As soon as I can I am going to phone them to renew.
My concern is the renewal price was the best. Will I now forgo that price and be charged a lot more?
Obviously I will not drive the vehicle until i have a new policy

1. Call Aviva in the morning, or
2. Ask a bunch of complete strangers on the internet in the middle of the night.
Which do you think is more likely to get you the right answer?9 -
I take it you had also switched off the continuous insurance option which would have auto renewed it?2

I have been on Aviva chat. They say there is nothing they can do. My renewal was £320 and a new policy is £504!!!!!.

It is easy, go elsewhere. Compare the meerkat will get you insurance and discounted meals/cinema tickets as well. We receive around £200 per year discount on meals, makes insurance significantly cheaper. Obviously depends on where you eat out, if you do.0

As Emmia said above, make sure your car is parked off the road until you've re-insured it.0
