HL LISA regular investing

Over the next tax year I intend to pay into my HL LISA using their monthly investment option to smooth out any volatility and to avoid fees. However does anyone know how the bonus works? Will that be invested as per my instructions on a delay when it's paid in or will I need to periodically mop it up and pay fees?

HL applies for it from HMRC after each contribution and it is credited to the account six to eleven weeks later. It will sit on the account as uninvested cash to be mopped up. So let's hope HL does a trade fee refund promotion again in the new tax year !1
