Hmm, definitely sounds to be like a "stop bothering us for a few weeks". I suspect they are stuggling with all the other issues atm, April changes, RTS stuff, new customers etc.
Edit: To add , I was idly browsing through some of their current tariffs and read his -
"It generally takes us around 14 days to connect to a smart meter so we can read it remotely – whether it's one we've just installed, or one we're taking over after you switch to us."

I think I'll also ask about timings, in that document it shows each of the major stages completing within a few minutes. If the overall process takes days, the it must spend most of that time sitting waiting for "something" before moving on to the next stage. What's the "something"? And if it doesn't happen of its own accord how long do they wait before chivvying it on?0
