I experienced all of the above including an email on 03.04.25 asking me to complete a transfer form (?), funds from previous provider (already received on 25.03.25), transfer history form with past and current contributions (?). I wasted over 1 h looking for paperwork, scanning it and replying only to be told that I didn't need to do anything !
Finally transfer was complete on 03.04.25 with interests backdated to 25.03.25.
I was referred by a friend which got us £15 each but they did make me work for it !!
Anyway, all's well that ends well.0 -
Received a lovely message from Tembo this morning after enquiring about my Cash LISA (from Dodl):
“Hi X,
After a bit of detective work I have found the issue. So your previous provider closed the LISA account with HMRC before the transfer had completed. This does mean HMRC closed the one we hold too. However this is being dealt with and we have contacted your previous provider and asked them to reopen this so we can allocate your funds.
I do apologise for the inconvenience but can assure you we are on this and it will be resolved as soon as possible. “

5 weeks after initiating the transfer, my app has finally stopped showing the "transfer in progress" message and today the interest due reflects the balance from the date of that transfer.0
