Big increases in charges for checked in bags?

    I can do a 2 week trip with just carry on. You just have to be prepared to do some laundry every few days.

    I was at an airport yesterday watching an Easyjet flight checking in.  One bag only rule was strictly enforced.  Anyone with duty free had to get it in their carry on.

    Cue many passengers unpacking bags and layering up in clothes.

    One pasenger's ruck sack was too wide for the measuring cage, so she took a coat out and put it on.  Bag fitted.  I then saw her walk down the airbridge, take her coat off and stuff it back in the bag.
