New sim contract before Apr 1st (price rise)
My partner is going for a new sim-only deal with o2, which is a lot cheaper than she's currently paying with them. I assume if she took out the new contract now, she'd be hit by the April price hike which is a £1.80 increase on the £10 p/m contract.
I don't know if historically deals change after the April 1st increase - So is it worth holding out a few days until then, or are deals likely to change in line with the increase?
Thanks

From what I recall from previous years, I'm pretty sure that O2 go right up to the end of the month (give or take a day) so I would hold fire until the 30th of March before committing.
It may have changed but I wouldn't trust anything that a salesperson would say on this subject.1 -
O2 have left it late this year to allow new contracts not to face an April 95 price hike - they started a week ago.
It sounds like you want to "upgrade" your contract, you can't get a new contract with the same number without ending the old one.
Have a look at USwitch for O2 contracts, £10 gets you 70GB/mth, less data for less ££ available.
When you click through to the O2 website take the option that says "I'm an existing customer".
