Is it quite easy to transfer? For example if I opened a 1 year fixed rate today can I not transfer into a new ISA until 28/3/26 or do you get a week or two either side to transfer? Thanks0

As ever, you'd need to check the terms of the specific account you're interested in - some won't be fixed for exactly a year, for example. But you do need to recognise the specified maturity date when it comes, as fixed term ISAs will impose penalties if accessing the money before that - you'll also need to ascertain what happens if it matures without you giving instructions about what to do with the money, as many will roll over into variable rate products but some will restart another fix.sherbie28 said:Is it quite easy to transfer?
