I've seen that people will be losing PIP due to changes planned, is there any way to find out if I will lose mine?
Is it to do with how many points you have?

The proposed changes mean that to continue receiving the daily living component of PIP you will need to score four points in at least one daily living descriptor. Mobility is unaffected.3

Oh thank you, I couldn't see it anywhere.
And is it changed in daily living at all? So are the levels changed?
I'll have to dig out my letter. Thank you.0 -

From around November 2026 new PIP claims and reassessed claims will face an added condition. That condition is that to receive Daily Living component award (of any level) you will have to have at least one 4 point (or more) scoring descriptor across the activities. Otherwise there are no proposed changes for PIP at this point.
-So when those changes are implemented and people make a new claim or get reassessed;
PIP DL standard award will be for those who get a total of 8-11 points which includes at least one 4 point (or more) scoring descriptor.
PIP DL enhanced award will be for those who get a total of 12 or more points which includes at least one 4 point (or more) scoring descriptor.
Mobility component is unchanged/unaffected.
The payments are expected to continue to be uprated with inflation as currently each April."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack2 -

I had a look and mine is made up of five lots of 2, so I would lose the DL component.0 -

unless you score at least 4 points in 1 descriptor at re assessment then yes you would lose your daily living award.1

For anyone who loses PIP care component and lives on their own, and have not migrated over to UC by then, you will be losing around £9250 a year!
This is LR care and ESA premiums for being disabled

My assessor was really bad TBH, I had a panic attack beforehand, couldn't catch my breath to speak and was in a bad state and when she took me in she shouted at me that if I couldn't get it together she'd send me home and then wasn't listening at all after that.
We actually had to put in a complaint about her afterwards and the report was strange. I hope to have a better reassessment. I didn't want to appeal as it was a bad time for me mentally.
Thanks so much for clarifying.1
