Just a small update.  I received a welcome e-mail even though I'm with British Gas already, including a new account number A********. I currently had account numbers for each gas and electricity.  Second e-mail to submit meter readings, which I did.

I rang British Gas to speak to someone regarding Tariffs and I explained what I did, the British Gas Rep said she could see it on my account, and after 2 days - 29 March 25, everything should be sorted online.

Just have to wait and see now, so far so good. :-)

Hi - I've checked with colleagues and we're aware of a problem with industry data that means that some existing BG customers won't see the exclusive tariff in the Energy Club.

A suggested workaround is to specify a different provider as your current provider in the Cheap Energy Club, and you'll then be able to see the BG offer.

If you do this, there's a possibility your tariff switch will need an extra nudge from our team, so if your tariff doesn't get changed on your BG account in the next couple of weeks, drop an email to energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com so we can take a look and prod things where necessary.

Not sure where to put this as I have two issues.

One is that my address doesn’t appear in the list as do many addresses in my road. And I was registered once before on my address and I have lived here for seventeen years and the upstairs flat appears so it seems to be more of an issue where the list of addresses isnt complete.

However, perhaps a bigger issue if I select another address it seems to show me their energy provider and their energy usage presumably as entered by them.

    Hi All,

I am not even getting any results on the app. I am an existing BG customer and want to do the change with the MSE cash back deal. I have filled it all in correctly but when I press show results/ comparisons nothing happens?

Hi @BevanAshford and @VBell - I would suggest emailing the team on energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com for help with these questions

I’ve sent an email but it’s a 2day response so I shall just do it directly from BG. Thanks for responding. :)

I've got the same problem as you with my address not showing up - I've been registered with the club for years with my home address but having to update my login seems to have messed this up. There's no way to complete the tariff change so it's a frustrating experience... Have checked with the royal mail postcode checker and it's correct so there's a glitch somewhere.

    1. Because that OVO deal is a bundle, you have to pay another £17 per month for boiler cover to get it.
    2. The OVO deal only appeared today (28th) while the MSE email with the BG deal was sent out yesterday? At least when I checked last night I didn't see the OVO deal in my results.

Extended 16 Month fix from screenshot you replied to now tops MSE fixed rate table + cashback

The OVO deal VT41 posted was the boiler cover one, and that's what I was replying to, not another deal (OFTM also show up as cheaper for me now). More importantly, I should've added point no.3 The BG deal ended at 5pm today, therefore it's now a moot point.
