Ryanair prime

Whilst I'm not a big fan of ryanair, they serve the nearest airport to where I often go.

They've launched a£79 membership, 'Ryanair prime', with early and exclusive access to seat sales... But I cannot find it any information on how often such sales are on, what the level of discount is, nor even if it will be for all routes, so it is not possible to know if it's worth it.... Any pointers would be much appreciated! Thanks

You're right, looking at the T&Cs there are no actual quantifiable benefits that you get for your £79 (or EUR 79, there's warning of an unquantified card payment processing fee too), the definitions use phrases such as "Regular emails giving access to....", and "a limited number of free reserved seating...." .

I'm not joining the Priority Boarding queue for this offer.

It’s remarkable that the annual travel insurance of Ryanair Prime only covers trips made on Ryanair flights.

A good analysis of the benefits (or lack of) here

Not going to be worth it for me as I don't fly with them often enough. They are usually my airline of last resort, just above swimming.
