vodafone renewal deal

Got 600 off peak mins a month with Voafone. They offered to knock 40% off my line rental for the year taking it down to £7.20, plus a sony erikson v800. They said the offer was only for today, when I said i wanted to think about. Assuming (hoping) this was just a sale ploy.

Is this phone any good? I really wanted a nokia 6230(i), for the hands free kit in my car, but they weren't budging without putting the line rental up again.

I Will try try again tomorrow and see if they will better it. Hopefully not missed out by not taking it today

You will probably get a good deal with Vodafone at present as all the Manchester United fans are leaving it in droves. They have been offering free line rental for a year to some supporters who have bought out of their annual contracts early.

Don't touch them with a bargepole - you can go to Orange, tell them about the offer of 600 off peak mins from Vodafone - and get the phone you want.
