Halfords TPMS Valve Service

Halfords won't do that for a fiver I'm sure. (no balance required as the tyre hasn't moved.)
I'd just take it to my local grubby tyre place and get them to inspect it and replace the valve.

Last week I had the tyre replaced by Formula One but it has continued to lose pressure in the same way.
I presumed that they had replaced the valve as this was stated on their website when I ordered the replacement tyre.
I attach a photo of the said valve. I might be wrong but it doesn’t look like they’ve replaced the valve. They might have, and you've done a fair bit of braking to cover it in brake dust.put some water with washing up liquid in around the base of the valve, it will foam up or bubble if there is a leak.If it is leaking round the valve, go back to Formula One and tell them the tyre is going down and there is a leak round the valve. They should take the tyre off, remove the valve, clean up the hole and fit a new one (likely with some sealant) for a nominal fee, or hopefully no charge as they only fitted the tyre last week.It doesn't look like a tpms valve, there are some rubber ones that screw into the tpms sensor on the inside though. They can fit a new non-tpms valve with the wheel still on the car, they use basically a funnel that compresses the rubber small enough to push through the hole, but it will probably leak as the problem will be corrosion of the alloy wheel, not the valve rubber.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Update. Formula removed the tyre and confirmed that valve stem was leaking. However they were unable to replace the valve as they had none in stock!
ETS garage around the corner replaced the valve stem for £25.1 -
That is the type where the rubber valve screws into the TPMS sensor.£25 is about right for new valve, tyre removal, refit & balance for a wheel on the car.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
