with the new tax year around the corner i will be putting the full 20k straight into isa on 6th april
now question is current rates 4.25% fixed with lloyds 12 months
ive currently got a 20k in cash isa, would it be wise now going for s&s with the world as it is with trump losing the plot sticking tariffs on anyone and everyone or just stick with cash isa
lloyds past is aprox 12% each in the past 2 yrs with a 0.34% charge +£3p/m in there proggresive fund
im new to this so any help is appreciated

The reason for investing rather than saving cash, should be part of a long term plan for your finances.
Normally for money that will not be needed for many years, investing will normally beat returns for cash.
So as it is a long term venture, what is happening today in the news is not that relevant, although admittedly sometimes difficult to block it out.2 -

US equities are currently cheaper than before Trump. Rest of the world is more expensive.lloyds past is aprox 12% each in the past 2 yrs with a 0.34% charge +£3p/m in there proggresive fundBanks rarely have decent investment products (there is an exception to that).
